PHYS 202 - Twentieth-Century Physics

Prerequisite: PHYS 172.  Prerequisite or corequisite: MATH 328 . An introduction to the special theory of relativity and quantum phenomena. Topics include the Bohr atom, the wave function, electron spin, Pauli Principle, quantum statistics, and atomic structure. Four hours lecture.
