CR: 3 Prerequisite: PHYS 172.Prerequisite or co-requisite: MATH 223. This course focuses on topics in classical physics at the intermediate level with an emphasis on developing students’ problem-solving skills. Students will work individually and collaboratively on problems and present solutions that are critiqued in class. Topics include mechanics, electromagnetism, waves, optics, and thermodynamics.
