DART 105 - Introduction to Arts Management CR: 4 This course provides students with an introduction to a variety of topics they will encounter when pursuing the certificate in arts management, including public policy and the arts, the economic structure of markets in various branches of the arts, and the issues and trends affecting arts management professionals. Content will be covered through readings, discussions, guest speakers, and 20 hours of hands-on fieldwork in an arts organization or facility located on or off campus. Offered each fall semester.
