BIOL 115 - Curious Naturalists CR: 3.0 Late spring in Virginia is when mockingbirds raise nestlings, luna moths evade bats, and toads trill in the beaver marsh. Students will explore this natural world by wielding nets, binoculars, and cameras; interrogating field guides and identification keys; and documenting observations in journals or sketchbooks. Students will develop skills in observing and interpreting patterns in nature. This field course is designed for anyone who is a curious naturalist, or would like to become one.
