(22 credits hours)

Combining theoretical knowledge and practical experience in arts management and museum studies through hands-on learning experiences on- and off-campus, the program helps students prepare for the opportunities and challenges of managing arts and cultural organizations with clear change-mandates for racial and social justice. Students will choose one “Pathway” of emphasis: Performance, Museum Studies/Galleries/Visual Arts, or Museum Studies/Public History. Within each pathway there is scope to build discipline-specific knowledge, experiment with programming and organizational structures, and develop strong project planning and fundraising skills, as well as visit remarkable arts venues in the region.
