PHIL 371 - Topics in the History of Philosophy


CR: 3
Prerequisite: one PHIL course. A detailed study of an advanced philosophical theme or topic in the history of thought. Topics will vary by academic session and cover one or more of the following historical periods: ancient; medieval and Renaissance; modern (17th-18th century); and recent and contemporary (19th-21st century). This course is intended for students with a background in philosophy and may be repeated for credit when the course content is different.
