CR: 3 Prerequisites: CHEM 231 and BIOL 112. A study of the relationship between structure and function in biomolecules including proteins and nucleic acids; methods of bioanalysis; prokaryotic DNA replication and the synthesis of proteins and RNA, and other various topics including, but not limited to, photosynthesis, enzyme kinetics, selected biosynthetic pathways and metabolism.
