EDUC 103 - Teaching, Learning and Human Development CR: 3 This course provides an introductory experience to the teaching profession by emphasizing the connections between developmental learning theories, cognitive processes, and effective instructional strategies. Course content includes a broad overiview of educational research, theory, and psychology; effective learning strategies, motivation, and self-regulation; cultural diversity; and instructional planning, classroom management, and assessment. Field experience in a public school setting is required. A fee for a background check may be required for this course.
