ENCW 306 - Contemporary International Writers

Prerequisite: ENCW 101 or a 200-level ENCW course. This course examines the rich array of contemporary literature throughout the world. Students will read and discuss the writers’ work and will explore the particular historical, cultural, and political circumstances out of which these works have emerged. Students will be encouraged to apply their own particular interests to their research projects and oral presentations. Students will complete both creative and analytical assignments. III.W, V.2, V.6b
