PSYC 317 - Personaility Psychology

Pre-req: PSYC 101.  This course provides an introduction to key topics in the study of personality psychology and individual differences. It covers historical and contemporary aspects of personality psychology including psychodynamic, humanistic, and trait-based approaches. It also discusses the extent to which personality theories predict real-world outcomes and human behavior. Throughout the course, students will learn about research methods in personality psychology and will critically evaluate empirical studies that have been conducted to test the theories discussed.
